Alisha is the director of Education and Training. She designs and oversees pre-adoption training, continuing parent education, and professional training in the community. She received her bachelors from Skidmore College in English and Spanish and her Masters in Social Work in Maternal and Child Health from UNC Chapel Hill. During her graduate studies, Alisha focused on issues surrounding adoption, foster care, and early childhood mental health. Alisha enjoys yoga, reading Oprah Magazine, and spending time with her husband and their cat, Tom Berenger.

Erica has been part of the Adoptions Together team for 20 years. Her specialty is supporting families to achieve permanency. As a Master Clinical Trainer and Coach she facilitates workshops and support groups for parents and professionals nationally and internationally. Her core topics of interest include trauma, attachment, FASD, mindfulness, open adoption, stress management, and grief and loss.
